At the September club meeting, Peterborough Lions were proud to welcome Clowance Lawton to the club.
Having recently graduated from the University of Surrey, Lion Clowance now works for Warners Group Publications in Bourne where she has taken up the position of British and Irish Editor of the Lion Magazine, so we’re sure to be hearing much more from her. (She also has the role of Marketing Executive of Cake Craft & Decoration Magazine, maybe that means we’ll get cakes at future meetings?) Having first visited the Peterborough Lion Club for the July business meeting, Clowance was introduced to the club by Lion Gaby Sharman who subsequently acted as sponsor at the induction this month.
Peterborough Lions is always looking to recruit new and enthusiastic members and anyone tempted to follow Clowance’s lead is invited to contact us.
Lion Clowance says: “I am ready to get stuck in with the Peterborough Lions, selling quiz sheets and helping the local community. I also hope to help promote the Club at a local level with my PR and marketing skills.”
