It is with great sadness that we report the death of Peterborough Lion Ray Garrood. A Lion since 1975, Lion Ray’s career with Nat West Bank gave him the opportunity to move around the country and to join his local Lions club and to take on roles such as District Treasurer. Soon after retirement he joined Peterborough Lions Club.
Lion Ray and his wife Shirley were a great asset to Peterborough Lions, always diligent when investigating our many requests for funding and always willing to do their stint at selling our Quiz Sheets and on the Christmas Carol Float.
Lion Rays wise counsel will be greatly missed, our love and wishes go out to Shirley.
