Thanks to everyone who came to see us at the Eye Summer Fete yesterday. Lion Mark had the ingenious idea of bringing some umbrellas to sell when the inevitable rain came, thereby ensuring that we had sunshine for the whole day – something of a first for this summer!
With a focus on entertainment, we had the Lions Cage and Feed the Lions, as well as basketball and giant balloons – if none of this makes any sense to you then you obviously weren’t there and will have to try harder next time!
Fingers crossed the Sunday weather wasn’t an exception and summer has finally arrived (the grey sky outside suggests otherwise).
